BRIEF UPDATE

In Glioblastoma Cancer  •  by Amanda Herring, Writer, July 15, 2025  •   Leave a Comment
No updates timely, and I sure am sorry about that. For whatever reason, I’m so, very tired. I slept all day today, except waking up a few times to eat and take medicine. God HAS gone ahead of me for sure. He already knows. The...

YOU ARE WORTHY

In Glioblastoma Cancer, Inspiring & Encouraging  •  by Amanda Herring, Writer, July 6, 2025  •   Leave a Comment
Even when you don’t feel like it. I haven’t felt like it. I haven’t felt like posting. I haven’t felt like being upbeat. I haven’t even felt like being sad. I’ve been in this hibernation state where I just wanted to rest, just wanted to...

Brain Tumor Surgery Soon

In Glioblastoma Cancer  •  by Amanda Herring, Writer, January 29, 2025  •   Leave a Comment
This precious girl got her braces off today! She has been a dancer at my studio for ten years, and I have gotten to love her through so many of life’s ups and downs. She is holding a yard sign to support me through this...

"And, please...lift me up in my effort toward grace and dignity. When I'm struggling, it's easy to forget.  It's easy to plunge into the hole of self-pity and self-doubt. I have been there for a day or two, but I don't want to be."

Mind the Gap: Thanks for Praying

"I'll just say that anybody who says they are praying for anybody else but actually never does or has no intention of it deserves itchy mosquito bites. There. Not sorry."

M-M-M-Myyyy Meningioma (See what I did there?)

"Everybody in this house is pretty chill right now, though, going about their business and riding this wave. I often preach that we should never worry until it's time, and I'm hoping that's how everyone is living. (We will all probably either need serious therapy...

I'm not sure what the lesson(s) is in all this yet, but I have great faith that it will be revealed eventually. Whatever it is, whatever I need to learn, I'm open and receptive.
