I have always had fear. Always. I just usually never let it get in the way.

Scared? Do it anyway.

Afraid? Fine. Feel that, and move on.

I like a sure thing. The unknown scares me. Not knowing what to expect, not certain about the outcome, not sure what people will think, unclear about what will happen next…those fears get at me the most.

But that’s not how life works. That’s what faith is for.

If you KNEW beyond all doubt that whatever decision you made would work out just fine, you’d be out deciding all over the place. Yes, yes, yes. No, no, no. You would make choices, put plans in motion, and freely DO without a care.

But life gives us no guarantees. That’s what faith is for.

Since we want what we want, though…without fear or doubt… we are turned on by the idea of manifesting. “Manifesting” sounds like woo woo magic. What if we could hold tight to an idea and wish it up?

That’s what faith is for.

Faith is not knowing but BELIEVING in something. It’s believing in something so strongly that it’s real. It’s trusting 100% that whatever can’t be seen can, does, or will actually exist. It’s fully expecting the outcome you imagine as if you’d visited the future and saw it for yourself.

Fear works the same way. It’s not knowing but BELIEVING that everything will go wrong, something bad will happen. It’s trusting 100% that whatever can’t be seen is lurking in the shadows waiting to wreak havoc. It’s fully expecting the outcome you imagine to suck in a way you couldn’t have predicted.

Faith and fear cannot coexist.

Your brain, your heart, your soul are not capable of complete assurance AND doubt at the same time. You can’t be both wet and dry. There’s no such thing as being a little bit pregnant. You can’t be outdoors and in the house. That’s how faith and fear work.

The “magic” in manifesting really isn’t woo woo at all. You can manifest things by believing wholly, KNOWING, that they will come to you.

Do you stand at the bustop and wonder if the bus might show up? No. You stand there because you know the bus is coming. You’d actually be surprised if it doesn’t.

Do you turn on the stove and place your hand over the burner? No. You keep your hands away, because you know it will burn you. You’d actually be surprised if it didn’t.

That’s what faith is for.

But we’ve actually seen the bus come and go. We’ve gotten burned. We CAN know these things, because they’ve happened before. That’s not faith, right? That’s experience. It’s easier.

Is it? Have we considered how fruitful our faith has been in the past? Do we rely on faith only when we are desperate, or do we rely on faith for the little things? Has our faith really been robust, or do we talk about having faith yet still operate around anxiety?

Really BELIEVE. Make choices, set a plan in motion, pursue something as if it were guaranteed, as if you know that bus will come, as if you know you will get burned on that stove. Practice extraordinary faith, and watch the extraordinary outcomes. Remind your fears that faith is bigger.

You need FDIC-style insurance to back your faith? Choose God, the Creator of all Things, The Universe. He provides. What He starts, He sees through to completion. He meets our needs. He is the ultimate gold standard that backs the value of faith currency. Try it. Watch.

Change your thoughts, Y’all. Change the tape you play in your head from one of fear to one of faith. That’s the goal. BELIEVE that what you need, the efforts you make towards good, the outcome you most desire will absolutely happen. That’s real manifesting.

That’s what faith is for.
