Keith and I are praying over a host of notes I made this morning about my condition, my deficits, and my concerns.

Taking brain surgery off the table, at least temporarily, was not on my dance card. I am sorely dejected.

There is probably not a “right” thing to do…I don’t know. I just feel it in my bones that it should happen sooner than later. Delaying another month or so while we watch and wait scares me.

Am I an expert? No.

Are these practitioners sooo much smarter than me? Of course!

In the midst of facing down Goliath, though, I just need a single stone. I am willing to take the risks of surgery now.

Perhaps these thoughts are too deeply  personal. Maybe I’m over-sharing. I don’t necessarily need opinions or guidance because all of it already has my mind so garbled.

My mind is in an awful twist today, so I needed a vent…

… and I need lots of intervention in prayer. So if you don’t mind joining me…

> cover this screen of notes I have thoughtfully written, breathe life into them, and give them credence, as I attempt to discuss them with my practitioners.

> pray for open minds and open hearts as all factors are considered.

> Pray that a way might be made for brain surgery sooner than later to help reduce my deficits and give me a little bit better quality of life in the near future. I would really not like to leave the hospital without it. (I’m being very bold in my prayers.)

> Pray that whatever comes, I can confidently ride the wave of faith, not doubt God’s plan, and be present for what He has planned for me

> Pray for all the practitioners and hands in the game who will make decisions on my behalf.

Thank you for loving me.
