Things I learned today…

The taste of your usual sushi roll depends on the maker that day.

I am amused (and aware!) when a doctor mentions medications and immunizations IMMEDIATELY without one, single mention of maintaining one’s physical, mental, and emotional health, eating habits, sleeping habits, exercise habits, and the ability to boost our maintain one’s own immunity.

And don’t throw any political comments at me. The health of your body is your responsibility, and your body’s ability to fight off illness is a thing.

Anytime I run into a group of people, and they say “we were just talking about you”, I’m like EEK.

When you’re busy being fabulous, making things happen, and taking care of yourself, you compete with no one. Put that in the bank.

I do (or avoid doing) a number of things for self preservation purposes, whether that’s “right” or not. My self preservation is often in the form of maintaining the absence of anxiety. I hate how anxiety makes me feel.

Newborns and toddlers are easy. If you don’t think so, you haven’t experienced the 13-19’s yet. Just wait.

The world doesn’t give you a break and just stop turning for a moment, does it?

Cheers to all of you who are tired!

That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
