Today, I learned that flights to a lot of places are wildly expensive right now. How can I book my next and my next and next trips? Knowing there’s a trip on the horizon makes my heart happy…and I have ideas! I need to start looking harder for deals.
I learned that I can take the steak intended for fajitas and turn it into a steak and potatoes dinner complete with green beans and garlic bread.
The gnomes must be at work. I am missing a biscuit cutter and the brush I use to marinate things. Remember that book “The Borrowers” from elementary school? I think it’s them.
I constantly refill my big insulated cup with ice and water. Today, I took the top off to fill it and didn’t hurry to put it back on. Thank goodness, because I learned that there was mold lurking around the threads at the top. Clean your cups often, Y’all.
Our dogs have learned that when Life 360 beeps on our devices, somebody has come home. They both run to the door and look. It’s the cutest.
When my daughter pulls up in her car, and she gets out and locks it, it makes this silly “meep” sound. And Keith and I usually yell out “MEEP!” after we hear it. She said she now hits the button then waits for our “MEEP!” coming from inside the house. Also the cutest.
I didn’t feel super good today. I’m wondering if maybe this residual nonsense from the flu (possibly COVID). I just feel tired and SUPER thirsty. The cough won’t quit.
Tomorrow, the goal is to clean out the kitchen drawers and cabinets. I’ll let you know how it goes.
