Things I Learned Today

My house is pretty clean. That’s nice.

I missed my last hair appointment, because I had Covid, and my gray is shinin’!! Can’t wait to go tomorrow.

About the time I’m good and ready to sit on my deck and drink wine at night, it’s 40° again.

Why does everybody have an opinion about EVERYTHING…and mostly know nothing about whatever it is. Just stop. Dance…opinions. Horse…opinions. Ball…opinions. School…opinions. Please, please come do a better job. Take over. Run my studio. Run the barn. Run the league. Run the educational system. Please. I’m DYING for you to be in charge.

I have learned today, really over the last few days, that what I write and what I say is not always heard like I wrote or said it. I mean, I’m pretty clear and don’t usually beat around the bush. I think people really don’t listen or process info with a clear mind. They already have notions, a chip on their shoulder, or something. It’s interesting.

I am an observer of people. When you pay attention, you notice SO MANY things. I should’ve studied Sociology.

You know, I like rocks and minerals, though, so I should’ve studied Geology.

Horse shopping continues, and people are crazy.

That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
