Things I Learned Today

I had several hours of uninterrupted work time again today. Proud of what I accomplished.

Why is it that when you wish the phone would shut up, you hear from everybody and their sister, but when you NEED someone to call you back with some info….crickets?

My son (about to turn 20) is ready to move out. He is actively looking for a place. How did we get here? He was just 4 and dressed in full Batman regalia at the grocery store, and we would sing Midnight Train to Georgia in the car, him pumping his little arm on the “woo woo” part. (Thankfully, he will still fall right in with me on that.)

It’s hhhhaaarrrddd to stop working and take a little time for myself. I know I need it, but that guilt feeling is stupid. I need to get over that.

My camper trailer is clean and shiny on the outside. Now to clean it up on the inside and make a few maintenance-type repairs. I want to gooooooooo.

I’m looking forward to a productive week. Fingers crossed.

I am learning a lot about horses every day. I feel kind of silly sometimes, but I’m new. I’ll get it. You have to LET yourself be a beginner at something. Remember that. Crappy people might judge you, but good people will graciously and patiently teach you.

Hey, in case you missed it, I created a group called The Clever Clover FULL of Amazon bargains and good buys. Check it out. And if you’re already there, add/invite 3 of your friends. All the cool kids are doing it.

That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
