Thankful today.

It’s a beautiful day, and I’m thankful for a whole lot of stuff. What about y’all?

I’ve got coffee…and a few groceries. I think we’re having chili for supper, because I’ve got the stuff to make that.

My hubs is the freaking cutest. He’s smart and kind, too, and a good kisser. He’s hard working and knows how to fix stuff. He knows formulas and equations for converting things. And he’s a smarty pants and really funny. We laugh a lot. Like…a lot.

Both kids are healthy…mouthy but healthy. Their rooms are marginally clean. (I made Brady dig out yesterday.) They know how to read, which is a plus. One is at work. The other one is perfecting the art of the slumber.

I have a few good friends. They’re good people with genuine hearts who seem to love me for me, and that’s cool.

I have books. I love books.

I have Jesus. Joy. And a job. The 3 J’s are critical, you know.

We have a dog, too. He’s pretty cute. And these two sweet cats.

And we have a can opener, clean towels, and an ice maker. Plus, we have those oil lamp things you light around the deck to make it all glowy and dreamy out there.

What are y’all thankful for today? You don’t have to wait until November and hop on that infernal “post something you’re thankful every day” bandwagon, ok? (Annoying.)

Do it now. What you got? I want to celebrate it with you.
