Things I learned today…
Sometimes I walk in the house from work, and there’s music playing. Usually a throwback country song or Eric Church or maybe Gary Allan. Keith has cleaned the kitchen, and the dishwasher is humming. It smells good, and the lamps are ambient. He smiles at me. It feels like peace.
I’m not sure how many people are reading my blog or care about it much anymore. And that’s ok. It continues to be a good outlet for me. Ultimately, I guess I’d have a ton of readers who relate to my mess or who I help inspire. Maybe one day.

I try not to be a Negative Nancy. I know I complain sometimes. Tell me if I do too much. Most of the time, I’m sharing my exact thoughts or sorting through a thing in my head (like right now), and that may not be for everybody.
I sure could use a night with our barn friends, singing with JB while he plays his guitar, and having some laughs over drinks. And I could use a night with a houseful of favorites, eating good food, and telling stories. Maybe I’ll plan those.
Tonight we’re having Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole. I just put it in the oven and poured two glasses of wine. My prayer is that you’re all feeling peace and living your dream. If you’re not, tell me how I can encourage you, inspire you, or help you. It’s what life is all about! And I’ll be your be your biggest cheerleader! Fill your life with goodness, Y’all.
That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
