Things I learned today…
Having no real itinerary this weekend turned out great! This morning, we decided to go to Kennebunkport, then take this street, then that street. It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

Every time we visit a new place, one of us inevitably comments that we may never see it again and how grateful we are to have come. I think Keith and I both said it at least twice.

Drivers in Maine were considerate and careful. They let us go, they waved to thank us if we let them in, they didn’t block the intersections during a red light. It was noticeably different…and appreciated.
This poor guy at the airport in Detroit was struggling. He was obviously in pain, and they injury seemed fresh. Got him a drink, some trail mix, and some M&M’s. He was tearful with gratitude. Be the change, People. Look for opportunities.

I sincerely believe we can have an impact on the world in a big way one person at a time. And I believe there are people out there who cross our paths and can make a big impact on us.
I’m in the Detroit airport and delayed. I’ll cut this one short to take in the downtime before this week starts.
That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
