Things I learned today…

There is a certain feeling that a mom gets when each family member is somewhere safe, occupied, and taken care of. Today, Keith and Blake were at work, Brady was with a friend, and even Hudson was at the groomer. It was like I was alone in the universe with nobody to answer to for an hour or so. What a feeling!

When I’m out of my favorite coffee syrup, I kind of want to bite people.

After you’ve eaten at Waffle House, your hair smells scattered, covered, smothered, chunked, topped, and diced.

If I told y’all the things people say to me when they call and ask about dance class, you’d just shake your head in disbelief.

Just the prospect of 98-degree weather every day next week makes me grumpy.

We bypassed our completely useless home warranty company today, and Keith replaced the compressor in the upstairs A/C unit. I am so grateful that he’s so smart and knows how to fix things.

My heart is with my friends whose children start school tomorrow. And God bless teachers.

That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
