Things I learned today…(midnight edition)
Even when I feel like staying home…go!
We left the house on an absolute whim, and now I’m in a suite in St. Louis overlooking the plaza and Busch Stadium. What an experience!
The fuss over the “throwed rolls” at Lambert’s in Sikeston, Missouri, is legit. Best rolls ever.
Why is it that when your windshield cracks, it magically appears AND is right in the line of sight?
When my friends are struggling, I hope it’s enough that I just let them know I’m thinking of them and understand.
I have a beautiful view of the St. Louis Arch amidst the skyline of the city. Right in front of us. I’ve never seen the Arch before.
I’ve really struggled with leaving to go somewhere, especially someplace far. I’m kind of feeling a way, and it’s taking some thought, but at the same time, I’m feeling SO GRATEFUL.
I didn’t even bring my work computer or notebook.
I’ve been sick the last two nights/mornings. Hoping I get rest and a full detox this weekend.
I’m tired. And Keith drove all the way, so I know he’s tired, too.
That’s all. We learned every day, don’t we?
