Things I learned today…
The back is feeling a little better. Hoping to be out of the woods in a day or two. I slept in my own bed last night and got really good rest.
When sweet friends text you out of the blue and offer to help you, it makes you feel so loved.
Please make sure your kids know who Marvin Gaye is. The Supremes. The Temptations. Lionel Richie. Smokey Robinson. All the Motown artists. It’s important.
I have so many friends who I wished lived closer.
Do you think it’s possible to shelter a child to his or her detriment? I have kids who don’t know ANY, NONE, ZERO music artists current or past. Not one. I have one little girl who doesn’t know your ordinary candy brand names like Twix, Smarties, Snickers. Never heard of them. I’m not judging. We are all trying to raise our kids the best we know how. Having to get a new phone is a pain in the butt.
Y’all ever deal with a person who has serious Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and kind of comes across as caustic, yet every now and again, they say something rather pleasant and smile and it takes you totally aback? Yeah, I had that one today.
