This marks Year 39 for me not getting that Barbie Dream House. I always wanted those Barbie Beauty Centers, too. The folks came in clutch, though, on that Lite Brite and that Easy Bake Oven.

We were cleaning out crap at my parents’ house one time, and the Easy Bake Oven surfaced.
Me: HEY! It’s my Easy Bake Oven! I loved that thing! I think I was 5 when Santa brought me this! *happy dance*

Me: Awwwww. So fun! *admiring it*
My Sister: Ummm…wait. Santa brought ME that SAME Easy Bake Oven when I was 5.
