Things I learned today…

It’s so important to walk the walk. Not everybody does. Y’all, if you say one thing and do another (even if you think nobody’s looking!), you lose credibility. I guess you can look at that two ways. You either keep talking big, and do whatever you need to do to try to live up to that and BE that. Or you better consider rethinking your position and work to live in a way that you’re capable of and still be authentic. You follow that?

I had a blast giving my presentation today. I LOVE helping people. I LOVE holding other people up so they can be rock stars. I LOVE giving people information and tools to help them be the best they can be.

I ate “fast food” Mediterranean today that was REALLY tasty. I had a bowl with rice, chick pea salad, tabbouleh, roasted red peppers, onions, lamb, tzatziki, and I had baklava, too – oh my word, I need to eat Greek on the regular.

Everybody needs humor. I think if you lose your sense of humor, you’re lost. You’ve got to laugh. You’ve got to be silly. You’ve got to make light of things. And you should be surrounded by it.

My suitcase is about to be grossly overweight. Sorry, Delta. Slap a “HEAVY” sticker on it, and heave it up in that plane. I’m going to home to Keith.

Making a host of new friends this week was LIFE! Leaving my closest friends today was hard. Walking away from Deb was the worst.

Some folks are astute, perceptive, and sharp. They miss nothing. Put that in the bank.

I shall go to sleep tonight with a full heart, a clean conscience, plenty of new goals, grace, joy, and lots of hope.

That’s all. We learn every day, don’t we?
